Meet the Team

Mark K. Rodman, DMD

Dr. Mark Rodman has worked and trained extensively to build a practice that exceeds your expectations of trusted, personalized dental care.

He consistently brings his patients only the best that modern dentistry has to offer, by keeping himself and staff informed on the latest advances and available techniques.

Dr. Rodman is part of a 30-year residence in Portland for dental comfort and care. He is a graduate of the Oregon Health and Sciences University, and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses in all areas of dentistry, including cosmetic, endodontic, periodontic, implant and prosthetic dentistry.

Dr. Rodman is a member of the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association. He is also a fellow member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Joseph Young, DMD

Dr. Joseph Young grew up in the Portland area, the third of six kids.He received his degree in biology from Brigham Young University –Idaho, going on to attain his dental degree at Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry.While there, Dr. Young won multiple research awards, re-founded the service based fraternity XI PSI PHI, and took home the senior award for excellence in Orthodontics at graduation.

After dental school, Dr. Young was selected for a competitive general practice residency at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, studying advanced surgical and restorative dental techniques. His passion for dentistry has led him to complete hundreds of hours of courses in postgraduate work and maintain memberships in the American Dental Association and Oregon Dental Association.

When Dr. Young is not practicing his passion of dentistry, he spends most of his time with his lovely wife and four children. He also enjoys spending time camping, hiking, and cycling, as well as volunteering his time and talent with the Special Olympics summer games each year performing dental screenings.

Sahra, Front Office Administrator

Sahra – Sahra is our Front Office Administrator. She has been with the practice since 2011 and in the dental field since 2008. She enjoys every aspect of seeing patients’ lives change with a new smile! Sahra has a young son that keeps her active and entertained in her spare time. Her hobbies include Dragon Boating, rafting, camping, and watching college football. Go Beavs!

Gina, Front Office/Dental Assistant

Gina is the Front Office Scheduler and a Dental Assistant. She has been with the practice since 2000, and she looks at her co-workers as her second family. Gina enjoys spending time with her family and her new dog, Jade. During free time, she enjoys skiing, camping and boating.

Alma, Dental Hygienist

Alma – Alma has been in the dental industry for nine years, and as a hygienist for the past three years. In addition to running and crossfit, an exercise regime that takes fitness to a new level, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and nephews.

Connie, Dental Hygienist

Connie – Connie is a Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in Oregon and Arizona, where she received her degrees in dental assistant and hygiene. She loves being a hygienist and has spent the last 6 years in general dentistry as well as pediatric dentistry. For free time, she spends time with her two children and husband Jeff. They love to hike, play games, read and travel.
